Sixers star Joel Embiid is 10th in the first MVP rankings

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is coming off an incredible week where he averaged 11 rebounds and 40 points for the four games he played.

The type of elite production allowed him to win the Player of the Week award in the Eastern Conference.

For Embiid, that "slow start" averaged 27 points per game, but not efficiency, and it appeared he would never again be able to return to MVP form.

He quickly shrugged off those thoughts and climbed back into the MVP rankings by Bleacher Report as they tied him with Kevin Durant for 10th in the rankings:
